NACWA Submits Testimony Emphasizing the Critical Role of Wastewater Utilities in the Administration’s Climate Action Plan

Groups Work Together to Reduce Costly Burden on U.S. Wastewater Systems

The INDA, NACWA, APWA and WEF are joining together to help reduce the issues of non-flushable disposable products in the wastewater system. These products cause expensive clogging issues and cause costly sewer backups in cities and towns across the USA. Their goal is to initiate a more rigorous assessment on products claiming they are flushable. This would also include making recommendations to improve the labeling of flushable and non-flushable products.
